This is the skeleton of a bryozoan, a colonial animal. It is unusually complete for this locality. Unfortunately, the small openings, called zooecia, which held the organisms, are not visible, since they are on the other side. This makes it difficult to determine the genus. This specimen has been donated to the Denver Museum of Natural History. The scale is in cm.
